Demonstrating the Business School’s commitment to safeguarding information and ensuring the highest standards of cyber security for its stakeholders, Henley is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO27001/2022 certification for Information Security Management.

David Stannard, Henley’s Director of Administration, said: “This is a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to instilling confidence among our students, faculty, staff and all stakeholders that we prioritise the security of their information. At a time of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, this certification reaffirms our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of information security.”

“Alongside our ongoing Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification, for which we have also just been re-accredited, this not only confirms the strength of the cyber security infrastructure and processes in place within Henley and the wider University of Reading but will also support and enhance our commercial activities moving forward.”

ISO27001 is an internationally recognised standard that outlines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management system. By obtaining this certification, Henley ensures that its information security practices align with global best practices and regulatory requirements.

David Stannard continued: “Gaining this certification is a testament to a huge amount of work over the last 18 months. I’d like to thank all of those involved in the process for their tireless efforts.”
